Description
Join us for a craft with Guest Makers from Artistry. Students will view, discuss, and sketch in various Anime and Manga drawing styles to create a stylized anime portrait of a friend, family member, or celebrity. We will focus on developing our drawing techniques as well as exploring how certain facial details and features can bring the personality of a subject to the fore. We will use pencil, ink, and markers.
For tweens and teens in grades 6-12.
This program is part of Teen Lit Takeover: 60+ events, 41 days, 8 libraries supported by MELSA and funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
