We have room for ONE MORE person for our upcoming September Adult Trip!
Join us on a trip back into history as we visit two popular historic destinations in Stillwater, Minnesota. The newly constructed Washington County Heritage Center has a wealth of exhibits and displays to show the rich history of Washington County including the keynote exhibit “From the Woods to the World” features how logging impacted Stillwater. The Warden’s House Museum was built in 1853 as the residence of the Minnesota Territorial Prison warden. Over the next six decades, there were thirteen wardens that lived in the house until 1914 when the prison moved to its present site in Bayport. Lunch will take place between the two locations at the Lowell Inn. Following the Warden’s House Museum tour, participants will have time to visit and shop local Stillwater businesses.
