Join Kate Phillips as she shares the history and the multiple traditions of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, traditionally celebrated on the second Monday in October.
Katrina Phillips is a citizen of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. She teaches Native American history and the history of the American West at Macalester College.
