CITY OF ARDEN HILLS: Amended Executive Order Loosens Some COVID-19 Restrictions

City Of Arden Hills issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.

Governor Walz announced revisions to COVID-19 restrictions at a press conference on Wednesday, December 16. All elementary schools in Minnesota will be allowed to open for hybrid or in-person instruction starting January 18, if they are able to follow a newly expanded list of COVID-19 safety protocols. Other guidance targets restaurants, gyms, youth sports, and family gatherings. Beginning Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., dining establishments and bars will be allowed to offer outdoor service at 50% capacity or up to 100 patrons. Gyms and fitness centers will be able to reopen starting January 4 at 25% capacity or 100 people maximum as long as clientele wear masks and maintain 12 feet of social distance. Youth sports can begin practices on January 4, as well. Family gatherings of up to 10 people will be permitted, and up to two households can meet outdoors. This amended executive order is set to expire on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. For the full executive order, click here.
