City Of Arden Hills issued the following announcement on July 24.
The North Suburbs Youth Coalition for Justice, organizers of the Awaken the Suburbs march, addressed the City Council in a listening session on July 23, 2020. The coalition introduced their organization and shared their perspectives and experiences as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) members of the community. The coalition presented recommendations to the City Council for consideration; a follow-up meeting for Council to consider the coalition’s recommendations is tentatively planned for the September 21, 2020 City Council work session.
