Residents are invited to join a virtual town hall on affordable housing in suburban areas of Ramsey County.
The meeting, which will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27, will help residents learn about the affordable housing conversation, according to a Twitter post from Ramsey County.
The meeting will address common questions such as: What affordable housing is and how it is defined, how a shortage of affordable housing is playing out in the county, what historical barriers there are when it comes to equitable housing in the county and the role affordable housing plays in a healthy economy, according to a press release from Ramsey County.
The Saint Paul-based Center for Economic Inclusion will facilitate the Zoom event, which will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
