City Of Shoreview issued the following announcement on June 5.
The City of Shoreview received a grant to offer a rebate program for smart irrigation controllers. Residents with a current irrigation system controller can apply for a rebate if they upgrade to a smart irrigation controller. The controller must be WaterSense-certified. The rebate is for 75% of the cost, up to $150. The Metropolitan Council’s Water Efficiency Grant Program, with help from the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment, provided partial funding for this program.
Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rebates will appear as a credit on a resident’s utility bill.
