RAMSEY COUNTY: COVID-19 Testing Offered For Attendees Of Large Gatherings

Ramsey County issued the following announcement on June 5.

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is offering COVID-19 testing to people living in communities impacted by recent large gatherings in the Twin Cities. If you participated in a recent protest, vigil, or other neighborhood event, you should get tested.at one of four community testing sites MDH is offering over the next three weeks. In Saint Paul, the drive-through testing MDH is offering in partnership with the city of Saint Paul and Ramsey County is available at:

  • The Jimmy Lee Recreation Center 270 Lexington Parkway North, Saint  Paul, MN 55104: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, June 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24; 12 noon to 6 p.m.
The community testing is open to anyone and especially individuals who participated in, or were nearby, any large gatherings such as: protests, civil unrest events, community clean-up and recovery efforts, vigils, neighborhood defense meetings. The free testing is available to anyone with or without symptoms, no insurance is required.

MDH asks that individuals who want to get tested to pre-register for a time slot to keep wait times short and to help maintain social distancing. In addition to drive through testing, walk-up testing is also welcome, with an appointment. More information and a link to register are available on the MDH website
