New Brighton home prices fall in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in New Brighton fell by $500 while total sales increased by 19%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $239,500 - a 0.2% decrease over the $240,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in New Brighton in October 2017.

The median sales tax in New Brighton for 2018 was $3,317. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,078. This marks an increase of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
