SAINT PAUL – Starting on Monday, July 3, 2023, the Saint Paul City Council will once again accept nominations to recognize Saint Paul businesses for a Business Award in several categories. These awards are part of the City Council's ongoing Open for Business initiative, which began in 2015 with the aim of enhancing Saint Paul's business environment and making it an even more attractive place for commerce. Ward 2 Councilmember Rebecca Noecker resonates with these sentiments, expressing, "The greatness of our community in Saint Paul is amplified by its vibrant and diverse businesses. It is truly gratifying to have the chance to offer support and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that thrives within our local business community."
Ward 6 Councilmember Nelsie Yang shared that “the Saint Paul Business Awards celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation within our community. In honoring the outstanding achievements of our local businesses, we inspire each other to strive for excellence while fostering a thriving business environment in Saint Paul.”
Community members, residents, employees, and business-owners are invited to visit www.stpaul.gov/bizawards to nominate, apply, explore past winners, and gain insight into the categories and criteria for submitting nominations or applications for the award.
