Ramsey County issued the following announcement on March 16.
The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners recognized retiring Director of Community Corrections John Klavins at today's board meeting. During his tenure, Mr. Klavins and his team have made great strides in youth and adult criminal justice reform – including eliminating supervision fees in 2020 and implementing Family Engaged Case Planning and Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiatives work.
