The first quarter of 2021: Home prices in Lauderdale increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Lauderdale rose by $1,150 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,150 - a 0.5% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Lauderdale in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,721, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
