City of Arden Hills issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Governor Tim Walz announced several changes to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions in response to the growing rate of infection throughout the state; these changes will be effective Friday, November 13th, at 10 PM.
"We cannot regulate away all risk, but we can manage risk until the day our brightest minds develop the tools to end this pandemic," says Walz.
New cases are increasing quickly, and the White House Coronavirus Task Force recommends "aggressive mitigation" to avoid additional increases in cases, hospitalizations and deaths.
Social gatherings
- Limit 10 for indoor and outdoor gatherings
- Limit to 3 households or less, including the host
- Effective 10 p.m. on Friday, November 13
- November 27: Limit to 50 people
- December 11: Limit to 25 people
- Events may not be between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.
- No change to the actual wedding, funeral or other ceremonies - only the connected reception, celebration, etc.
- 50% capacity for indoor and outdoor settings
- No more than 150 people at 50% capacity
- Counters closed for seating and service unless counter-only establishment
- Patrons must be seated at tables
- No bar games that require standing are permitted
- No dine-in between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. (delivery and takeout allowed)
• Proposing $10 million in additional funding to businesses that have already applied for relief
• This will help 1,000 more businesses pay bills and pay workers
