City of Shoreview issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
The Shoreview Human Rights Commission, in partnership with the Ramsey County Library - Shoreview, will host an ongoing series of virtual discussions around the topic of race. This program is funded in part with money from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Session 1 - Let's Get Uncomfortable: A space to talk about race and being anti-racist
This conversation is a facilitated space to get people to talk about racism, its consequences, and how we all share the responsibility to do the work for change. Need a place to start? Here you go, get uncomfortable with us.
This conversation will be facilitated by The Theater of Public Policy and hosted virtually on Zoom.
- Tuesday, November 17 at 7 pm
- Thursday, November 19 at 7 pm
Space is limited to 40 participants each session.
