New Brighton Road will be closed on Monday, Oct. 5 in Arden Hills and New Brighton to replace two culverts.
The road will be closed starting at 7 a.m., according to a press release from Ramsey County. There is no exact time for when the road will be reopened, but the county expects it should be reopened by Friday, Oct. 9 in the late afternoon.
Traffic will be closed in both directions on the road between First Street and Thom Drive. There will be a detour with signs for directions.
The detour will be using Second Street, Cleveland Avenue and County Road E2, according to the county press release.
Driveway access on the road will be maintained, according to Ramsey County.
While New Brighton Road will be closed, there will still be access to the Arden Hills yard waste site, according to the county press release. It can be accessed from northbound New Brighton Road and it can also be accessed from First Street.
