City Of Arden Hills issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Absentee voting for the November 3 General Election begins Friday, September 18. Voters can request a ballot by mail or vote in person at certain locations beginning Friday, September 18. If you have requested a ballot by mail, absentee ballots will be mailed out beginning Friday, September 18.
ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL
Visit the Minnesota Secretary of State to register to vote, check your registration status, or request an absentee ballot to vote by mail for the General Election. Ballots will be mailed to home addresses beginning Friday, September 18. If you have requested a ballot be mailed to you, it is highly recommended that you return your completed ballot as soon as possible. Ballots received by mail must be postmarked no later than on or before November 3. You can track a ballot to make sure it’s been received and counted after voting.
Note due to recent case law, the requirement to have a witness sign your ballot has been removed, so your mail-in ballot only requires you to sign it. Read more about voting by mail.

Early voting/direct ballot voting (where you complete your ballot and feed it directly into the ballot counter machine) takes place the week prior to the General Election. More information will be provided in October regarding this option.
