St. Anthony-New Brighton PSD issued the following announcement.
School districts across the state have been asked to plan for three different school-instruction delivery models: in-person learning for all students, a hybrid model with social distancing and capacity limits, and distance learning only. A stakeholder committee is in the process of working on each of the different school models, but to effectively prepare, parent feedback is critical.
An important point to note, the district is working diligently to ensure each potential model allows for high levels of academic learning, meets the social emotional needs of children, and is built on a system of equity. At this time, we are unable to give details since we have not finalized plans.
This document outlines the process we used to develop plans for the 2020-21 school year.
As we develop the models, it is crucial to understand the changing dynamic of COVID-19 and be aware that we may need to implement other models throughout the 2020-21 School Year. If you have more than one child, please submit a separate survey so we can understand your preferences for each child's learning during the 20-21 school year. Take the survey.
Please complete the survey ASAP. St. Anthony Community Services will send a separate survey.
As always, thank you for your support and trust as we navigate this challenging situation.
