Lauderdale home prices fall in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Lauderdale fell by $13,450 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,800 - a 6.9% decrease over the $194,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Lauderdale in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale for 2018 was $2,520. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,129. This marks an increase of 18.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
