Lauderdale home prices fall in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in Lauderdale fell by $33,500 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $147,000 - a 18.6% decrease over the $180,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Lauderdale in February 2018.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale for 2019 was $2,721. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,520. This marks an increase of 8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
