Lauderdale home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Lauderdale rose by $24,900 while total sales decreased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,900 - a 11.1% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Lauderdale in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale for 2019 was $2,721. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,520. This marks an increase of 8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
