Falcon Heights home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Falcon Heights fell by $7,700 while total sales decreased by 31.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $325,000 - a 2.3% decrease over the $332,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Falcon Heights in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Falcon Heights for 2019 was $4,226. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,884. This marks an increase of 8.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
