Roseville home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Roseville rose by $5,000 while total sales increased by 19.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 223 homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,000 - a 2% increase over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 187 homes sold in Roseville in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Roseville for 2018 was $3,400. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,932. This marks an increase of 16%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
