Arden Hills home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Arden Hills fell by $16,000 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $381,500 - a 4% decrease over the $397,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 56 homes sold in Arden Hills in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Arden Hills for 2019 was $4,612. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,169. This marks an increase of 10.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
