Little Canada home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Little Canada rose by $37,100 while total sales decreased by 5.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 111 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,000 - a 18.6% increase over the $199,900 median sale price for the previous year. There were 117 homes sold in Little Canada in 2017.

The median sales tax in Little Canada for 2018 was $2,730. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,374. This marks an increase of 15%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
