Mounds View home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Mounds View rose by $1,500 while total sales increased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 121 homes sold, with a median sale price of $242,500 - a 0.6% increase over the $241,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 110 homes sold in Mounds View in 2018.

The median sales tax in Mounds View for 2019 was $3,000. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,610. This marks an increase of 14.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
