Ramsey County officials are seeking out feedback from the community on the plans for the project from Hodgson Road between Gramsie Road/Rice Street and Highway 96 in Shoreview.
According to the Twin Cities website, the new project is scheduled to begin in 2022.
The plans will reportedly make pedestrian and bike access more accessible. The plans also include replacing deteriorating roadways and will update storm drain infrastructure. The introductory design includes a circle at the Gramsie Road/Rice Street junction. Also, the plan will include new sidewalks and a community trail.
After the reconstruction is completed, Hodgson Road will be a three-lane road with new storm drains, new curb and a gutter.
Ramsey County citizens and local businesses can share data on the plans using an online survey and interactive map by visiting ramseycounty.us/HodgsonRoad.
The survey will be open until May 8. Feedback will be accepted via the project web page throughout the design process. The designing period should be finalized in 2021.
