City Of Shoreview issued the following announcement on April 9.
In an effort to protect the health of our residents, employees, and contract employees, the City of Shoreview is cancelling the May 16 spring cleanup day. Although this popular event attracts hundreds of Shoreview residents, it does not allow for the CDC’s recommended social distancing measures.
The city understands that residents are currently spring cleaning and rely on this event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Below is information on how you can recycle or dispose of some items that you were going to bring to cleanup day. Please note that several recycling or disposal sites are currently closed due to the stay at home order.
- Bulky items such as furniture, appliances, or mattresses
- Contact your trash hauler to schedule a pickup for a fee
- Contact Best Buy to schedule a pickup for a fee
- Drop off at a local Salvation Army site
- Household hazardous waste such as oil, paint, or cleaners
- Drop off at Ramsey County’s household hazardous waste sites – visit ramseyrecycles.com for locations
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this unprecedented time.
