North Memorial Health issued the following announcement on April 9.
What exactly are we talking about? To reduce water pollution, there’s a program called Adopt-a-Drain MN that asks residents to adopt a storm drain in their neighborhood and commit to keeping it clear of leaves and other debris.
If you'd like to contribute to cleaner waterways and a healthier community, go to www.adopt-a-drain.org to get started and find a drain near your house. You even get to name it!
