North Memorial Health Hospital issued the following announcement on March 12
Due to the progression of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have revised our visitor guidelines for North Memorial Health Hospital effective today, March 13, 2020. Here are the details:
For patients being tested or have tested positive for COVID-19:
Essential visitors only. No other visitors are allowed.
Please note that essential visitors are legal guardians or an agent who must be present for healthcare decisions.
For all other patients:
Visitors are limited to one healthy individual.
Please note that a healthy individual does not have a fever, cough or other respiratory symptoms.
Compassionate exceptions will be made under special circumstances.
In addition, effective March 13, 2020, we have canceled all classes, tours, support groups and other community-based meetings for the next two weeks, March 13-27. We will re-evaluate on March 27 to see if this needs to be extended further. If you have already registered for a class that has been canceled you will be receiving further information from us via email later today.
