Ramsey County issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
Nov. 4-8 is Winter Hazard Awareness Week in Minnesota.
Ramsey County Emergency Management & Homeland Security, in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, is preparing for the upcoming winter season and sharing important safety and awareness tips. Each day of Winter Hazard Awareness Week is devoted to a specific topic:
- Monday, Nov. 4: Winter Storms
- Tuesday, Nov. 5: Outdoor Winter Safety
- Wednesday, Nov. 6: Winter Fire Safety
- Thursday, Nov. 7: Indoor Winter Safety
- Friday, Nov. 8: Winter Driving
