Ramsey County issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
It's time to dust off your skates and hit the ice with open skate and hockey at Ramsey County arenas.
These programs are free of charge and open to all abilities of skating. Bring your own skates, or rent a pair at Highland Arena and Vadnais Sports Center for $5 a person.
Open skate is available at Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena and Vadnais Sports Center. Senior Skating (55+) will be held at Aldrich Arena.
Adult open hockey will be available at Aldrich Arena. Parks & Recreation is also excited to launch youth open hockey sessions this year at Highland Arena and Vadnais Sports Center. Additional hours and locations will be available during winter break.
