City of Maplewood issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
Maplewood Parks and Recreation is excited to host our annual Rec Run 3k/5k! This fun event is for all skill levels from serious runners to a family looking for a fun fall event! The race has a 3k option for younger runners/families or a full 5k! A child gets to run free with a paid adult.
Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite super hero or cartoon character! Join us on the morning of September 28th at the Maplewood YMCA Community Center for this great event benefiting Maplewood Parks & Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund.
