Ramsey County under excessive heat warning

Ramsey County is under an excessive heat warning on Tuesday, Aug. 2 until 8 p.m. Residents should check on relatives, neighbors, seniors and others with health conditions that are vulnerable to extreme heat, to make sure they are staying hydrated and safe.

Cooling spaces in Ramsey County

Libraries

The Ramsey County libraries in Maplewood and Roseville will remain open on Tuesday, Aug. 2 until 11 p.m. The libraries provide an air-conditioned public facility where members of the community can go to find relief until the outside temperatures cool to safer levels. All library services will be available until close. 

Waterworks and county beaches

Please note lifeguard services are not available at Ramsey County beaches.

As a result of COVID-19, some of the spaces on the map may be closed, have changes in access, hours or capacity, or have mask requirements and other safety guidelines in place. Please check the website of the spaces listed on the map before you go.
